I popped into Express to take a quick peek… It was like looking into a sea of blues and greens! It was hard to walk on by without checking it out!  I am truly loving these hues!

The stores are trying to ease us into the Fall Season and it is working…

Basically, colored denim is here to stay and get on board with blues and greens stat!

 

On another note, let’s show some celebrities that wear Express!

A great jean jacket should be a staple in everyone’s wardrobe.  It is just so versatile and it never goes out of style! It can be perfect over your maxi dress or paired with your colored jeans!

I love how Ali Landry, Mena Suvari and Eva Longoria all show us how easy it is to wear a fun pop of color!  All 3 of them paired their colored denim or pants with a simple white shirt!

Summer Trends at Delia*s!

Delia’s is always on top of the hottest trends, so I stopped by to check out what they had going on for summer!

To start, they had a few sales going on … which you know I love!  One of the items on sale were their solid and print bandeaus.  This is a fun and popular summer look, especially under a loose tank or button down jean shirt.  They offer a great way to stay cool in the heat!

Try them as an easy option for a splash of color!

Don’t put away your red, white and blue just yet!  Even though Independence Day is behind us, see how Delia’s adds a nautical flair to the color combo!  Plus, you can be patriotic year round … and Patriots football season will be starting before we know it!  Yikes!

A few more popular looks for the season are lace, fluorescent and sequins … they’re everywhere!  Delia’s has some adorable lace dresses on the mannequins at the front of the store that are perfect for the hot weather.  One of my favorite looks in the store was the fluorescent tangerine sequin tank top paired with hot pink cuffed jeans.  It looked so fresh and fun!

(I actually bought this Tank Top for my niece and ended up keeping it for myself!!  LOL… It just matched my own colored jeans so perfectly that I couldn’t give it up!! Don’t worry, I gave her plenty of other clothes to make up for it!!!)

GURU TIP:  Take a moment to check out the mannequins at the store, they offer great ideas on how to style certain pieces and what tops/bottoms/accessories coordinate!
