I’ve been talking a bit about the denim vest trend… Well, here you go! Wouldn’t you know it, these are at Wet Seal! Denim outerwear is a classic wardrobe staple.

I also L.O.V.E. an infinity scarf to add a nice pop of color, texture and interest! For example, check out the black maxi dress with the white denim vest and the orangey/peachy infinity scarf! I love that color combo! So visually interesting and instantly chic! I am also super into cool hats to shade your face from the sun! You must protect your skin from sun damage so you may as well look cool while doing so!

If scarfs aren’t your thang… then check out how they paired different necklaces as well with the maxi dresses!

Here are some easy and super comfy strapless maxi dress options… Great as a cover up or an easy summer look!

Play it cool and casual with some help from Pac Sun!

They have everything you need to welcome the warmer temps! I was drawn into the store because of their denim vest display! I’ve been a bit obsessed with these vests that are popping up everywhere! But as usual, I always take a good once-over to see what new trends I may observe.

For those that like bustiers, they did have a bunch of choices…

Cropped bustier tank tops…

Bustiers can keep you cool under a denim vest! Plus, the crop top is a big trend this season. Also try with a maxi skirt or an oversized chambray shirt.

So, I am absolutely loving vests as a major layering piece this season! Pair with jeans and a tank, maxi dresses, minis, shorts… almost anything! Pac Sun had lots of options!

Love the tomboy wink this light-pink vest adds to floral sundresses and summery maxis.

I just loved this military inspired vest! I had to try it on… Of course it didn’t look great with my pink shirt, but I loved how it was a bit edgy!

Did you know about the Kendall & Kyle Exclusive Clothing Collection only at PacSun. The reality tv stars are the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner family and launched their line in February.

The Kendall & Kylie x PacSun collaboration blends the casual-yet-chic sensibility of the sisters with the spirit of California.

Their latest collection, is filled with shorts, dresses & swimwear. “It’s just a chill, relaxed cool line,” Kendall, 17, says, of their designs.

Pac Sun had plenty of Spring’s Must Haves…

On the hotter days ahead, leave your jean jacket behind and opt for a wear-with-everything denim vest! It adds a touch of cool to virtually any look while also adding a lighter layer of warmth without the bulk!

Another option is to just chop the sleeves off an old denim jacket that you may not be loving anymore! Presto – a new wardrobe item in your closet without spending a cent!

I think it is a trend worth investing in!! Haha…

I wandered around Wet Seal to see what casually chic and versatile looks they were offering for Spring!

With Spring comes the time to freshen up and spruce up the house!

PB Teen takes the guess work out of how to decorate! I love to just stop in to be inspired!

Although I did just buy Amber some new polka dot curtains and Ava a new polka dot rug! Their stuff is just so darn cute!

Joy to the Brain!

What better store to stop into for a cool gift idea than Marbles? Marbles the brain store is a one-of-a-kind retail store with a smart collection of hand-picked, expert-tested, certifiably fun ways to a healthier brain for all ages.

Shop for fun items to exercise your critical thinking skills! They have games you have heard of like Scrabble:

But plenty more unique games that you might not have known existed!

Plus, so many of them are out for you to play with! Their friendly staff is always willing to assist you and even show you a demonstration on how to play!

I actually love that their are so many of the games on display so you can really check them out!

Amber’s holding a game that I have bought for her and for many of her friends! It is an inexpensive-go-to-gift for me! It is called Story Cubes.

Rory’s Story Cubes contains nine cubes with 54 images. Just roll the cubes and come up with a story that links together all nine face-up images. Really gets the kids to be creative! Since it is so small, it is a great travel game as well! At $9.99 it is also a great stocking stuffer!

Khet is basically like chess with Egyptian-themed pieces and laser lights, which is magnificently and unapologetically as geeky as it sounds. Comfort and Joy!

Alright guys… if you are wondering what to get your girlfriend, look no further than Victoria’s Secret Pink! Indulging your GF with some cute new pjs that you can both enjoy is one of the best gifts! You both win! She looks cute and you can enjoy that while she is all comfy!

It’s funny, my husband bought me these pink polka dot draw string pants one year for Christmas and I still have them! I just love them… so comfy, cute and warm! I don’t think that ever goes out of style! I probably never would have bought them on my own either….!

I think every guy loves a good excuse to step foot into this store, right?

So, go ahead and enjoy your opportunity, just make sure you have the sizes right because nothing can ruin a good gift more than getting that wrong!!! haha… So, check her clothes and make a mental note of her sizes first! AND, don’t be afraid to ask someone for help! We all love to help a guy get it right and the sales associates are there for that very reason… so, just ask!
