Guru Snapshot: Express!

I had to stop into Express to see all of the new arrivals!

What do you think? I personally love some of those one shoulder shirts. Renew your love affair with one-sleeved tops because this ultra-soft and sexy rouched look is the end-all be-all these days and for the foreseeable future. Pair with a statement necklace or earrings for a look that’s fit for a party. One Sleeved Rouched Top is just $39.90!

What do you think of the mesh stitched sweaters? Hmmm, kinda 80′s with a new and updated twist!  I think it can be a sexy look with a tank underneath, plus, it is something different to add to your wardrobe – if you are ready for it though! They have a few different styles available, but they are all around $59.90. Like I have said, sometimes to get out of your fashion comfort zone, you need to be daring. If you decide on an outfit or look, GO FOR IT! Be confident in your choice and “own it”!

Like I keep saying, sport denim in bold hues this season! With a fit that sits low on your hips and a fabric that hugs your shape down to the ankles, the slim fit of Zelda is their sexiest jean.

So go ahead- try brightening up your look with some of their vibrantly colored options!

New Metal Belt Trend!

Hey Everyone!

Remember when I talked about some of the looks at the Grammys?  One hot new trend I noticed was metal belts!  So, I decided to search around Natick Mall to see where one could find one! The good news? You can take your pick as to where you decide to buy one- I found them in about 5 different stores!

CPK ~ California Pizza Kitchen!

I went to California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) with my family on Saturday. We had a very enjoyable experience all around and can’t wait to go back!

CPK is home to the Original BBQ Chicken Pizza and other innovative hearth-baked pizzas, made-to-order pastas, creative salads, appetizers, soups, sandwiches and desserts. I was very pleased to see the many options (besides pizza!) on the menu!  After my kids devoured the loaf of bread, we decided to start with the wedge and the white corn guacamole & chips. YUM! (They were both off of the small cravings menu).  Amber got the chicken fingers, a cheese pizza for Ava, salmon for Dan, and I went for the chicken milanese.  Amber got vanilla ice cream with whipped cream and Ava chose the M&M sundae that I got to enjoy a few bites of as well! I’ll be honest, my mouth is watering and I’m wishing I was back at CPK right NOW!

The CPK decor is warm and welcoming and the food was simply DE-LISH! Plus, the staff was very patient and accommodating for our family.  We left feeling very full and content! If you have kids, this is a great option.  They will love it, but the menu is full of Delicious choices for adults. EVERYONE WAS HAPPY… AND FULL!

Here’s a little background behind CPK:

They opened their first restaurant In Beverly Hills in 1985. Former federal prosecutors Rick Rosenfield and Larry Flax combined their passion for food with fresh high-quality ingredients to create innovative, hearth-baked pizzas such as The Original BBQ Chicken, Thai Chicken, and Jamaican Jerk Chicken, cooked in an open kitchen. The restaurant gave California a place in the pizza pantheon alongside Chicago and New York. Their California twist on global flavors really resonated with guests, and almost immediately, CPK became a bustling spot for business and family gatherings.

Very soon after the first location opened, they expanded from California to more than 250 locations in more than 30 states and 11 countries. But it doesn’t stop there: you’ll also find their creations to the pizza aisle in your grocer’s freezer, taking the edge off travel fatigue in major airports all over the world, feeding eager fans at sports stadiums and students on college campuses.

BOTTOM LINE:

CPK IS THE PERFECT PLACE TO GO FOR A NICE MEAL WHILE AT THE MALL! WITH SO MANY GREAT MENU OPTIONS, THERE’S SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE! I WANT TO GO BACK ASAP! YUM, YUM, YUM!

Built By Beads: Create Your Own Design Event!

I stopped by to see what it was all about and of course, took LOT’S of pictures so you can see as well!

I was blown away at the selection. They have more than 2,000 different kinds of beads including Swarovski Crystal, natural stone and shell, chech glass, foil glass, and more!

So I quickly ducked into Francesca’s to check out what’s been happening and see what’s new. I also happened to be wearing a new dress I’d bought there, which is not uncommon since I really love the place!

Pandora at Natick Mall!

Now what girl doesn’t LOVE  jewelry, right?? And it doesn’t really matter what kind either.  Part of me loves estate or costume jewelry, while another side likes the simple style of pearl earrings or tennis bracelet.  So when I was at Natick the other day (as I often am!), I popped into Pandora to see what they had. I’m glad I did!

Since I know most people know all about Pandora and their charms, I decided to focus on all the other great stuff they have to offer! 

Did you know that they can make a custom necklace look just for you? Plus, their latest rings are really cool and so pretty!

 And in case you haven’t been in there for a while, here are a few pictures from my recent visit!

As you can see, I had some fun! I love that you have the ability to customize almost anything you want at Pandora! From watches, to rings, to necklaces, earrings and bracelets… You can create a stunning look that is all your own and expresses your own personality! How COOL!

There were so many fun pieces that I loved! If I had to pick a favorite… it would have to be those stackable rings!! Just loved those beaded rings!
